We’ve hit that awkward time between Christmas and spring. The Christmas decor has been put away, and it is was too early to pull out the spring decorations.
I don’t know about you, but my house was looking a little bare. I decided to really embrace winter here in Canada and have our home reflect the current season.
So, while avoiding anything too “Christmasy” I pulled decorations from around our home and Christmas bins, while avoiding any greenery and red and pulled together a cozy, modern winter look.
I was able to achieve this look by mixing textures, including a ceramic pitcher, wooden candlesticks and a cool glass vase. Then I brought warm in by draping my mantle with a chunky knit table runner. Bringing the outdoors in by placing delicate branches in the pitcher, laying birch tree branches flat and pulling in a pop of green with shhhh… faux greenery really brought this look to life.
I am so happy with how it turned out and I pause every time I walk by. Watch me pull the look together here…
