One of my favorite ways to add print, colour and sometimes even texture to a room is with a fantastic wallpaper. When designing a room for a teen, use the unique opportunity to go a little wild with a vibrant printed wallpaper. You don’t have to do the entire room, just one wall to give an unexpected punch.
Romo’s new Black Edition is creating a lot of buzz in the design world. The Jackson Flock wallcovering from the Black Edition collection is a little wild with a vintage edge, perfect for the rock star in your family.
Clarke and Clarke Floribunda Collection in Aqua, w0043 02 would be a great accent for a room with a bit of a punk look to it. The aqua colour in the leopard print is a wonderful unexpected twist. Pair this with some light linen drapes and a mix of patterned cushions on the bed to give a fun and cohesive look.
I am absolutely in love with this graphic floral print also from Romo Black Edition. There is a playful mixture of soft flowers and edgy graphics that would create a true “wow” factor in a feminine room. The print shown is Eden Wallcovering Verbena, Xanthina Wallcoverings W362 03.
Cole and Son’s Geometric Circus print offers a modern graphic print that would please any techie. This sophisticated and vibrant wallpaper would transition well from a teen to young adult’s room.
Last but not least, the Contemporary II, Woods series also from Cole and Son is one of my favorite wallpapers. Cole and Son offer a variety of bright colours in this classic print that gives it a fresh youthful pop.
