Dr. Seuss, Cat In The Hat Mural (Nursery / Child’s Room)

I recently finished a Cat In The Hat mural for a nursery.  This was the first time I have painted a Dr. Seuss mural and I loved it.  Dr. Seuss did most of his book’s illustrations himself and had a very unique sketchy style.  It was very freeing to paint this way and I think it turned out great!  Next on my bucket list is a Lorax mural… any takers?

Royal Baby Boy Prince George Alexander Louis’ Nursery Design

royal-baby

The world is joining in with Kate and Prince William’s excitement for the arrival of their baby boy!  Born on July 22nd, 2013 weighing a healthy 8lbs 6oz.  We were able to catch a glimpse of beautiful Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge and his beaming parents before he left the hospital to head on Kensington Palace.

So, what does Prince George’s nursery look like?  We have seen some beautiful royal baby nursery concepts such as the designs done by the RedBook Agency for Hello Magazine reminiscent of Prince William and Prince Harry’s nursery.

William and Harry

Joanna Venditti from Nesting Story wanted to put together her own ideas that reflects Kate’s contemporary style fit for a prince!  This opulent yet modern design is fresh and fashionable with a nod to adventure!  A hot air balloon mural would be the perfect backdrop to this nursery.  The white furniture with navy and gold accents are masculine with a nautical flair.
