Dr. Seuss, Cat In The Hat Mural (Nursery / Child’s Room)

I recently finished a Cat In The Hat mural for a nursery. This was the first time I have painted a Dr. Seuss mural and I loved it. Dr. Seuss did most of his book’s illustrations himself and had a very unique sketchy style. It was very freeing to paint this way and I think it turned out great! Next on my bucket list is a Lorax mural… any takers?

Batman, my client’s cat kept a close eye on me while I was painting and kept reaching his cute little paws under the door.

The Last Days of Summer… Holden’s Big Boy Room

If you are going through anything similar to me, you are counting down the seconds until school starts. My little man Holden is starting Junior Kindergarten this year and we cannot wait!

Holden is so bored and we are running out of things to do!

One thing we are trying to accomplish is finishing Holden’s room. We moved in December and besides getting the furniture into the room we haven’t done a thing! The walls are still destroyed from the little boy who lived in that room before him and Holden has Hot Wheels and toys everywhere.

Now that Holden is growing out of his Cars phase it’s time to turn his room into a rustic surf paradise.
