I started this week off with a BANG! By bang I mean got really into writing my now viral article Why I Am Dating My Husband Again, and I didn’t realize I was sitting funny at my desk and threw my neck out. That’s what I get for slowing down my weight training.
On Tuesday, despite not feeling great, I headed into the city (Toronto) to be part of an audience of a You Tube show, Social Common.
Well, wouldn’t you know it, I walk in the door and one of the hosts realized she had read my article at 3a.m. and added it to the show as their hot topic. It was a blast! Here’s the full episode…
Plus, our family had a lot of first this week…
Mia and Everly used markers for the first time. Okay, okay, maybe they use them at daycare, but mommy was brave enough to let them go a little wild and draw…Well, Everly got the hang of it (face palm)!
Speaking of firsts, Mia and Everly started daycare and they LOVE IT! They are only there from 9am – 12pm, but now I can get my work done and then enjoy the kiddies for the rest of the day. Oh, and the best part is, they are totally zonked by the time they get home, so they nap straight until it’s school pick up time for the big kids. So, Holden, who is six-years-old is totally obsessed with the smell of coffee, (that’s my kid)! I finally convinced Mike to let him have one little sip. He LOVES it. Too bad he can’t have his second sip for another ten years. I come from a long line of coffee drinkers.
Beau has been pretty obsessed with her sisters. She insists that her best friend is Everly. They truly are two peas in a pod. As soon as she comes home from school, Beau plays with them, and pretends she’s their teacher, up until it’s bedtime. Honestly, I don’t know what I would do without Beau constantly entertaining our twins.Lastly, Mia and Everly had a big first this week, their first haircuts!Everly looked a little like Lloyd Christmas after, but with a little feathering of the bangs she looked pretty darn cute!It was a busy week, but we accomplished a lot and it was full of a lot of exciting firsts.
